What is Slaky? Slaky is a 15-stage filtered shower head that removes 99% of chlorine, heavy metals, and bacteria from your water using medical-grade KDF-55 filtration. It replaces your existing shower head and installs in under 2 minutes with no tools or plumber needed.
What does Slaky actually filter out? Slaky removes chlorine, lead, mercury, chromium, bacteria, pesticides, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and pharmaceutical residue. The 15 filtration stages include KDF-55, Vitamin C spheres, coconut shell activated carbon, calcium sulfite, alkaline mineral stones, antibacterial balls, ceramic balls, and stainless steel mesh.
Will I actually notice a difference? Most customers report softer skin and less dryness within the first week. By week two, hair typically feels stronger and shinier. Results vary depending on your local water quality — the worse your water, the more dramatic the difference.
Is Slaky dermatologist recommended? Slaky uses KDF-55 filtration media, which is NSF-certified and widely used in medical and industrial water treatment. We recommend consulting your dermatologist if you have specific skin conditions, but many customers with eczema, psoriasis, and sensitive skin have reported significant improvement.
Does it work with hot water? Yes. Unlike standard carbon-only filters that lose effectiveness in hot water, Slaky includes calcium sulfite which actively removes chlorine even at high temperatures.
Installation & Compatibility
Will Slaky fit my shower? Yes. Slaky uses a standard ½ inch (G1/2) universal thread connection that fits 99% of shower arms worldwide. Simply unscrew your old shower head and attach Slaky in its place.
Do I need a plumber or any tools? No. Installation is completely tool-free and takes under 2 minutes. Unscrew your old shower head by hand, apply the included plumber's tape, and thread Slaky on. Hand-tight is all you need.
Will it reduce my water pressure? No. Slaky is engineered to maintain full water pressure while filtering. The micro-perforated spray face is designed to deliver a consistent, satisfying flow.
What colors are available? Slaky is available in Matte Black and Chrome Silver. Both use the same 15-stage filter cartridge.
What are the dimensions? Spray face diameter: 135mm (5.3"). Total height: 115mm (4.5"). Connector diameter: 75mm (3"). Compact and designed to look premium in any bathroom.
Filter Replacement
How often do I need to replace the filter? Every 90 days, or approximately 10,000 liters of water. This is 2-3x longer than most competitors.
How do I know when it's time to replace? You'll notice a gradual decrease in water pressure as the filter reaches capacity. We recommend setting a reminder or subscribing for automatic delivery so you never have to think about it.
How do I replace the filter? Unscrew the shower head body, remove the old cartridge, drop in the new one, and screw it back together. Takes about 10 seconds.
Where can I buy replacement filters? Replacement filter cartridges are available on our website. Subscribe & Save for automatic delivery every 90 days and never miss a change.

How does the subscription work? When you choose Subscribe & Save, you receive the shower head with your first filter included at a discounted price. Every 90 days, a fresh replacement filter is automatically shipped to you.
Can I cancel anytime? Yes. There are no contracts or commitments. You can cancel, pause, or change your delivery schedule at any time through your account or by contacting us.
Can I buy without subscribing? Absolutely. One-time purchase is always available. You can also buy replacement filters individually whenever you need them.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship? We currently ship to the United States and Canada with free standard shipping on all orders. International shipping is available at checkout with rates calculated based on destination.
How long does shipping take? Standard shipping within the US takes 5-8 business days. Expedited options are available at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping? Yes. Free standard shipping on all US orders.
Returns & Guarantee
What is the 30-day guarantee? If you don't notice a difference in your skin and hair within 30 days of receiving your order, contact us for a full refund. No questions asked.
How do I start a return? Contact us at hello@slaky.com with your order number. We'll guide you through the return process.
Who pays for return shipping? Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
How long does a refund take? Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.
Account & Orders
How do I track my order? You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link once your order ships. You can also check your order status anytime by logging into your account.
I need to change or cancel my order. Contact us at hello@slaky.com as soon as possible. We process orders quickly, so changes can only be made before shipping.
I received a damaged or defective product. Contact us at hello@slaky.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll send a replacement at no cost to you.
